The world famous PASSION PLAY is performed every ten years in the Bavarian village of Oberammergau, Germany. In 2010, the citizens of this picturesque town will take to the stage for the 41st time to portray the "passion" or suffering of Christ.
As it has been from the very first play in 1638, all the actors are local townspeople. One year prior to the performances, the actors start rehearsals and begin growing their hair to ensure that the characters look as realistic as possible. More than 1500 adults and 500 children are typically involved. Performances are scheduled from mid May through September in 2010. What is the advantage of requesting a brochure TODAY instead of waiting until I am ready to book a trip?

How Early Should I book an Escorted Europe Tour?
We encourage clients to book now. The demand for the Passion Play tours is extremely high because this is only offered once every ten years. Image Tours is currently offering an early booking special featuring a savings of $400 off per couple on May or September departures while space lasts and $1000 off per couple on June, July & August departures if you book by October 30, 2009. If you are interested in an escorted tour to Europe including the Passion Play, for 2010, do not wait to book. Space is already filling up for many departures.
What exactly are the steps to book a trip?
Again the first step is to request a brochure.
Once you have decided to take a trip, signing up is as easy as A - B - C.
- Choose your desired departure date.
- Complete a Reservation Application which you will find in the Europe brochure on page 89.
- Mail your signed reservation application and a deposit check for $400 plus $309 for the optional travel insurance in the included return envelope. (Full payment is required if booking within 130 days of departure). The reservation application also has a space to enter your credit card information for the deposit and insurance premium. Upon receiving your deposit and signed reservation application, we will continue to guide you through the process of preparing for your tour!
